Woodland L250DB Bailey Dark Brown Waxy Leather Country Boots. These stylish ladies country boots feature a fully waterproof construction and are fitted with a Viltex PE waterproof and breathable membrane. The ladies boots are slim fitting and have a zip fastener to the boots side, and also have a textile lining for additional comfort and warmth. Fitted with a TPU rubber sole. Hard wearing, waterproof and stylish womens country boots, suitable for use as riding or equestrian boots. Available in waxy dark brown.

I think I have fairly average width calves, and they fit me just fine. In a 43, the calf is 7½ inches across.
Check your size. They seem to be made to EU sizing, and then converted to UK. So go on the EU size. All that said, they do seem to run large: the sole of my size 43 is 12 inches heel to toe.
But all in all, I love them.
